Worship and Services

About us and our service shedules

Hightown Methodist Church is a Grade 2 listed galleried Victorian church set in the midst of an urban shopping street, 5 minutes walk to rail and bus stations and 10 minutes to the centre of Luton. We believe strong relationships with God and each other help us to serve, in His name, an area which baldly needs support and friendship. We have a joyful Christian lifestyle sharing regular Sunday lunches together. Morning worship, with organ or music worship group, attracts people of all ages with a lively Sunday Club after 15-20 minutes of shared worship. The evening service is more reflective and routine.

Dear members and friends,

We are currently back in church for only two Sunday services per month at 11am.

We do hope some of you will feel ready to return to worship.

Things will feel very different but it will be good to be able to worship together and to see one another after this long time.

We will need to wear masks, and be socially distanced and we won't be able to sing, the service will be short, and we will need to keep some doors open for a through draught and good ventilation. So bring your mask and wear something warm!!
